The Town Council voted to refer Ordinance Number 652 to the voters of Paraidse Valley.  The ordinance provides for the mayor to be selected by the Town Council from among their number rather than directly elected by the people.  The ballot measure question will appear on the November 6, 2012 General Election ballot and will be listed as Propostion 454.  An official publicity pamphlet will be mailed to each household with a registered voter in October.  The pamplhet will include a copy of the ordinance being referred along with argument for and against the measure.
