The Paradise Valley Police Department would like to extend an offer to have our Community Resource Officer perform a Crime Prevention Assessment of your home or business. We are conducting this security survey as a courtesy to help reduce the chances of you becoming the victim of a crime.
This home survey is created from a concept known as C.P.T.E.D. (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). The goal is to prevent crime by designing a physical environment that positively influences human behavior. The theory is based on four principles: natural access control, natural surveillance, territoriality, and maintenance. These are suggested recommendations and are not a guarantee that you will not be the victim of a crime. The best part is this service is free of charge!
