Town Manager's Leadership
Appointed in August of 2018, Brian Dalke will serve as the Interim Town Manager while the Town undergoes a recruitment effort for a permanent Town Manager.
Interim Town Manager retired from the City of Goodyear after serving 23 years and the last six years as their city manager. Brian has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Ottawa University, and a Master of Business Administration from Amberton University. He is also a Certified Economic Developer and a graduate of the Economic Development Institute. Brian is actively engaged with the Arizona City/County Management Association, the International City/County Management Association, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, the Arizona Association for Economic Development, and the Urban Land Institute.
Dawn Marie Buckland joined the Town of Paradise Valley in 2015 and serves as the Deputy Town Manager. As Deputy Town Manager, Dawn Marie is responsible for multiple departments and programs, including Intergovernmental Affairs, Information Technology, Public Works, and Community Development.
Deputy Town Manager Buckland joined municipal government after serving nine years in the United States Air Force. Prior to joining the team at Paradise Valley, Dawn Marie served various program management capacities for Chandler, Gilbert, and Peoria.
Deputy Town Manager Buckland earned her Master's in Administration from Northern Arizona State University, and her Bachelor's in Business and Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. She is also a Certified Public Manager from Arizona State University. Dawn Marie serves on a national level for both the Government Finance Officers Association and the International City/County Management Association.
