Street Sweeping

The Town of Paradise Valley has two PM10 street sweepers that sweep approximately 648 miles per year. This equates to each street being swept four times per year. This is accomplished by sweeping approximately two sections per week at least three weeks out of each month.

The street sweepers are not designed to pick up large pieces, piles or wet debris. Here’s how you can help improve the cleanliness of your street.

  1. Avoid piling debris in the street.
  2. Don’t rake, sweep, blow leaves or other debris in the street.
  3. Keep palm fronds and long twigs and branches in the street.
  4. Don’t throw litter in the street.
  5. During a storm, avoid parking vehicles on the street.
