Preparations for 2020 Census Underway in Paradise Valley

The Town of Paradise Valley joins other Valley communities in supporting the iCount2020 campaign to raise awareness about the upcoming Census.  On August 16th,  iCount2020 announced the launch of their website.  It includes frequently asked questions and other helpful information about the Census.  The site will be updated often leading up to Census Day April 1, 2020.

The U.S. Constitution requires a census to be held every ten years.  The data collected is used to determine the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives and is also used to distribute federal funds to states and municipalities including Paradise Valley.  Getting a complete and accurate count benefits local schools and make federal funds available to improve our streets, sidewalks, and other capital investments..
