NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADD, INCREASE, OR MODIFY POLICE DEPARTMENT FEES

In accordance with A.R.S. §9-499.15, the Town of Paradise Valley hereby gives notice of its intent to add, increase, or modify Police Department Fees at a public meeting to be held on or after May 13, 2021 at Town Hall, 6401 E Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley, AZ.  A rate study will be available online for public inspection at least 20 days prior to the public hearing. 

 

PROPOSED NEW AND MODIFIED FEES

The proposed fee categories and rates to be considered at the public hearing shall not exceed the following:

$60.00/hr
Sergeant Rate
$70.00/hr
Vehicle Rate
$5.00/hr
Administrative Costs
10% of total invoice
Insurance Costs
$5.00/hr
Holiday Charge
$10.00/hr
Minimum hours
4 hours
Short Notice Fee (<72 hrs)
$5.00/hr
Cancellation Fee (<48 hrs)
$100 
Shift Differential (11pm-7am)
$5.00/hr
Extended Shift Fee (>10 hrs)
$15.00/hr

 

Arizona law (A.R.S. §9-499.15) requires that government entities provide written notice on their website home page of the proposed new or increased taxes or fees. When the Town of Paradise Valley has such a change to report, it will be posted to this page 60-days prior to Council voting on such changes.
