1. Who is my Water Provider?

There are three water providers within the Town of Paradise Valley, including Berneil Water Company, City of Phoenix Water Services and EPCOR Water Company. 3. Who do I contact related to roadway construction in the Town?

The Town could have multiple roadway construction projects occurring throughout the year. These projects could be capital improvement, pavement management, street repair or utility construction. For additional information please visit the Town’s website or contact the Public Works / Engineering Department at 480-348-3636.

4. Who do I contact about drainage concerns in my neighborhood?

During rainstorms, washes are the main pathways that collect the water running off the mountains and through the town. Severe flooding can occur when wash capacities are exceeded or their ability to carry the water effectively is impeded. Preserving our washes while maintaining their ability to safely convey storm water is a shared, ongoing responsibility. Dumping trash or objects into a wash is illegal and, if observed, should be reported to the Code Enforcement department. If you see a wash that needs attention, please contact the Code Enforcement Department at 480-348-3523. If you have drainage concerns on your property and need engineering assistance please contact Engineering Department at 480-348-3528 or 480-348-3636

5. Who do I contact to report a street maintenance concern?

6. Who do I contact about dead animal pick-up?

Within the Town’s Right-of-Way please contact Public Works Street Operations at 480-348-3589.
All other areas please contact Maricopa County Animal Control at 602-506-7387.

7. Who do I contact about bees, mosquitos, or varmints on my property?

The Town does not provide vector control services, rather it is provided by privately owned companies. For more information including contact numbers please click here

8. Who is my sewer provider and where is the sewer located?

There are two sewer providers within the Town of Paradise Valley: the City of Phoenix Water Services and the Town of Paradise Valley. Where you live within the Town determines your sewer provider. This map displays the sewer provider boundaries and sewer locations. In addition, many properties within the Town are connected to a septic system and not to the sewer system. 9. Who provides solid waste and recycling collection in the Town?

The Town does not provide solid waste and recycling collection, rather it is provided by privately owned companies. For more information including contact numbers please click here.

10. Who do I contact about utility billing?

11. Why are there colored markings on my street?

The rainbow of colors painted on the sidewalk or in the yard next door is not just for decoration. These markings identify the actual location of underground utilities. The markings include seven standard colors, each identifying a different type of utility line, and are temporary and will fade over time.
• Yellow signifies natural gas, petroleum, nitrogen, butane, and propane;
• Blue denotes water, irrigation, and wells
• Red identifies electric, traffic signals, and streetlights.
• White: Proposed Excavation
• Orange: Communication, Cable Television, Fiber Optics
• Purple: Reclaimed Water
• Green: Sanitary Sewer Systems
